Ready to go Long Makabar? 9:37 PM

Had a small chat with Mr Andrew Wee - Samling’s Assistant General Manager, Group Administration - at Samling while waiting for solar panel to be sent to packing.

Tomorrow is the trip! (29th March to 1st April 2010)

Gonna depart from campus at 7.00am to Samling before heading to Long Makabar (approx gonna reach LM around 4.00pm). There will be total 9 of us who's going to the trip = five Project Care members (me, Johan, Suhas, Kairul, Shahul), Project Care presents THE CIRCUS lucky draw winner Amir, volunteer Siaw Tshin, electrical engineer Mr Lawrence and one technician from Samling.

Basically the main objective for this trip is to install the four solar panels to light up Long Makabar's cultural centre.

I'll be in the media department, gonna videoshoot the whole trip for the complete Project Care documentary.

So, we would like to thank all contributors, sponsors and volunteers who assisted in this almost 2 year long project to make this solar panel project a SUCCESS!

P/S: fyi, I'll not be reachable through phone or internet as there will be no phone and internet line. Sorry for the inconvenience-caused.

Well, this boxset is good and worth for new or some current Twins fans who wishes to collect (almost) all Twins' album releases. For me, 'Limited Edition 2000 sets only' and the cut shaped DVD killed my wallet that time. Poor 'money-s'..

THE CIRCUS (Special Edition DVD) 8:29 PM

Well, above is the artwork for Project Care presents THE CIRCUS charity show - the Special Edition DVD.

Disc contents are same as previous distributed copies, only the cover/label design is slightly different.

Only 16 copies available, exclusively for Project Care, Haslina, RTM & The Star (will be given out during Long Makabar trip on 29th March 2010), as well as some lucky ones.. :)

Pre-production: Belacan Seller 10:35 PM

Siti, Joanne and I went to Pasar (around Miri old town area, near the first 24-hour KFC and chinese temple) to have a brief chat with a Belacan seller for our FTV 324 assignment - Minor production. Rachel is our groupmate as well, but she wasn't able to come due to personal reason.

The 3 minutes short film focuses on a Belacan Seller (ex-Belacan maker): what made her decided to make Belacan; her life story; life in Pasar; impacts on her family, etc...

Voodoo from PSYCHOSIS 7:50 PM

So surprised when I saw a blooded Voodoo doll in council office.
I thought it was real at the first place (so scary) and then I accidentally found a paper with "ANTHONY" on it. Then I realized it was a prop from the short film "PSYCHOSIS".
Haha.. so random.. and still scary x_x

CV! Traditional Dance Performance 2007 10:49 PM

One of my very first performances in Curtin Sarawak.
And it was the grand opening for Curtin Open Day 2007 [9.9.2007].

I miss the rehearsal days, and miss all the dancers!! Sweet memory~

A brief story of how I (we) got involved in the performance:
I (we) attended to Dance sessions organized by Curtin Volunteers!. Then they recruited volunteers who wish and are willing to perform on Curtin Open Day 2007. The initial plan, our dance, was one of the 'middle' performances for the day. We practiced over and over again to make it as perfect as we can (some of us even came out with a mosquito dance because we're trapped by thousands of mosquitoes at LT foyer and even Multi Purpose Hall).

After we practiced and rehearsed for few weeks, then we were told that we'll be the grand opening for they day! That news made me and everyone's day.

However, to tell the truth, I was extremely nervous on the actual performance. I was shaking on stage, eventhough I'm facing a little amount of audience, until my last routine and we received warm cheers and supports. We were hugging and cheering to each other once we got back to backstage. That day, my first semester and first performance, became one of my best days in Curtin Miri. :D
