What a nice and creative prom night ticket!

It looks shinny and glittery, however, on a non-sticky papercard, so the glitters inks are dropping out. But anyway, I'm kinda like this type of ticket design and concept/idea :)

Expensive-Hannah! 9:30 PM

I was shocked, very shocked + unbelievable when I first saw the price of Hannah Montana The Movie (Hong Kong version DVD) on Yesasia.

You'll never believe that one standard/sinple DVD cost USD 155.99 [RM 546.35] !!

What an extremely-over-expensive DVD!

By the way, I've sent an email to them, received their reply and now they changed the price already. It was a mistake. But lol!

Other side-news:

We'd our meeting at 11.00pm @ICT yesterday (same day, after the audition)!!
This was a stressful and probably the most tired/sleepy Project Care meeting ever~

Well there are conflicts among us, but I think that's normal. Everyone has own view and opinions, and different lifestyle and working style, so nothing much to comment.

What's more? We still have 1 month to go!!
(Total 40 days for the whole 'show' project)

Hopefully everything's fine for THE CIRCUS.

Audition for Project Care presents THE CIRCUS 7:00 PM

"Everyone is invited to join the AUDITION!"

You will only need to choose one to attend.
Details as below:

Audition A
Date: 17th September 2009 (Thursday)
Time: 7.00pm – 10.00pm
Venue: Learning Centre 1 & 2

Audition B
Date: 18th September 2009 (Friday)
Time: 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Venue: Lecture Theater Foyer

- Please confirm whether you or not to make it in the charity night by 14th September 2009 (Monday) before 5pm with Gerain Chan (016-848 8736) or email at cyyong29@gmail.com.
- Also, please confirm your attendance to the audition latest by 15th September 2009 (Tuesday) before 4pm.
- You will only need to perform a brief performance or introduction in the audition. Full performance costume/dress is not required.

NOTE: Only selected group/individual/clubs will be performing during the charity night. The result will be released on 21st September 2009 (Monday) notice by email and phone call.

Please be informed of the below details:

- Select what you want to perform. Your performance can be of modern or traditional dance, singing, talent show, magic show, sketch or stage act, martial arts, and/or circus related performance. Both individual and group performance is allowed.
- Songs selection. You can use mainstream music, traditional music and/or remix of several songs in the performance. However, no explicit songs (eg. song contains fault words) are allowed.- Time the length of your performance. Each group/individual/club is given a maximum of 15 minutes. You may send several teams to perform different performance.
- All materials including songs, equipments (besides equipments provided), costumes and props will be prepared by group/individual/club. You may provide a list of materials needed as our reference.

Project Care presents THE CIRCUS will be the first Curtin ticket-selling fundraising show organized by Project Care (John Curtin Leadership Academy).
The purpose of the event is to raise fund to a solar panel project for a rural community, and to have variety of music and performance to unite the Miri Community for one night for the benefit of the rural community in Miri District.

The theme for the event is Circus: Variety. Definition: A compilation of varieties. When this concept is applied in music and performances, the result is astounding as Circus includes all kinds of music genre and talent shows.

Event highlights:
a) Guest Performance: Miri Orchestra & Choir Society
b) Student Organizations: Curtin and local school(s)
c) Lucky Draw: Win a trip to Long Makabar (one entry entitled at each ticket)

I found UNO is still an interesting game after played with Curtin Perth Study Group few months ago (I did played UNO before in my primary school or secondary school, but very seldom). I'm not gonna play this! This is so cute and shall remain in this condition~ Hehe..

Although maintenance of the website is still in progress, but they have a nice thought to design a small and simple game for visitors to chill out while waiting for the return of the website's function.

It's the official Curtin Volunteers! Exco (08-09) Handover Session~

I do miss CV! but I think it's also a time for me to hold/stop all my posts and activities and have a good break. It's been a nice and enjoy working experience in CV! and me as a Secretary.

Anyway, all the best and good luck to the new batch of CV! Exco (09-10).
