This is one of the BEST Movie-DVD boxset I've ever collected so far. The movie is just alright, but the merchandises included in the boxset are very worth to have it.
(Bought it at a reasonable & cheap price @ AOE online - which much more cheaper than YesAsia and retail stores)

Limited Edition boxset comes with All About Love Pendant, 35mm Movie film, Love Letter from Mrs. Ko, Stills Photo(A5) set of 3, Postcard set of 8, Mini Movie Poster, AND 'behind the scenes' card.

2 versions of pendant (which is a gift from Andy Lau to Charlene). HK DVD boxset version is thicker than Malaysia version.

Hannah Montana The Movie: Blu-ray Combo! 1:04 AM

FINALLY, really finally, I received my long-awaited
"HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE: Deluxe Edition"
(Blu-ray+DVD+Digital Copy COMBO)!!

P/S: Thanks to Aki who found it in the Student Council office.

The package was received by Curtin/Student Council around Oct last year, however non of them contacted me at all.. which made me looked for it at the reception counter -> housing services over and over again (and I thought my package was either hold by Custom or maybe it's lost during posting)... Anyway, phew, luckily it's safe.

I still bought it even I don't have a Blu-ray player. Why?
a) Because this is one of my most favourite and the best Western film I've ever watched.
b) It's because I only need to pay total USD20.00 which already included postage [Retail price: USD35.99-USD44.99 exclusing postage] to get this combo set, thanks to ebay and the seller who posted it with cheap price and postage.
c) What's more, I can get a Blu-ray disc (for future view), DVD and Digital Copy - it's even cheaper and worth than a standard DVD released in Malaysia!!!

Just for your info,

Blu-ray disc is actually same size with normal CD/DVD disc ('Blu-ray' doesn't mean or necessary in 'blue' colour disc, see above for example, the right one), the only difference is the storage capacity:

CD: 700MB
DVD-5 (single layer): 4.7GBDVD-9 (dual layer): 8.5GBBlu-ray (single layer): 25GBBlu-ray (dual layer): 50GBBlu-ray [capacity up to]: 100GB - 200GB

That's why the movie/video quality of Blu-ray disc is much more clearer (and in High Definition) with more special features than a normal DVD disc~!

CNY Hangout with relatives 8:54 PM

I had two amazing fun days with relatives before going back to Miri tomorrow (17th Feb 2010). Everything is free = even received VIP tickets for the culture show!
Thank you so much to SamGu [3rd Aunt] & family :D

Had buffet dinner at Sutera Harbour.

Had buffet lunch at Grand Port View.

With performers from China.

Attended "Cultures of Malaysia-China: Festival of Spring" show at UMS.

Hmm, to tell the truth, this show was not as good as expected, and I feels bad for the organizer of the show - as most of the audience left during halfway of the show.
Dance, Sing, Dance, Sing, Dance, Sing, Dance, Sing.... = Boring.
Maybe audiences expected to watch China martial arts/kung fu actions/circus show etc.
And I guess audiences who sat until the end of the show were looking forward to the 'Thousand Hands Dewi', which shown in the promo poster.. and that was the most nice performance for the show.

Random shot at UMS 1st floor (it's actually a wall in a very long circle walkway).. UMS is really HUGE!!

THE TWINS EFFECT 2 ~SPECIAL POST~ 10:59 PM

Well, to tell the truth, this is one of the worst movie I've ever seen... seriously. Terrible boring plot/storyline and mismatched characters... even Twins + Jaycee Chan and all stars cast couldn't help much for making me fall in love with the movie. Bad.

Despite I hate or don't like the movie A LOT, this 'limited edition 5000 sets only' boxset is still a nice collection item.


Comes with more merchandises than the first movie: a sword [quite sharp!], desk calendar, 3D sticker, 2x Octopus covers, and 2DVDs with tons of special features (more than the first movie, and in higher quality).

Overall this is a nice and worth to collect boxset.

Limited 5000 sets only, this boxset comes with movie-related merchandises such as:
~ Slipper (represents Jackie Chen)
~ Octopus cover (represents Leo Ku)
~ Door Hanger (represents Landlord)
~ the Treasure case/box (represents the Baby Matthew)
~ Birth Certificate
~ Car Window signboard
~ exclusive YesAsia 2007 Calendar
as well as the nice 2DVD with "extended version" of the movie, all made it a worth collection item.

The first disc comes with both "Extended Version" - 134 Minutes and "Original" 125 Minutes version of the movie. I prefer the extended version as it consists some funny and interesting parts not seen in the theater such as Leo misunderstood Charlene has an affair, more dialogue and fighting parts etc. While second disc comes with tons of special features.

What's more, I have an additional YesAsia exclusive & "RARE" Promo Souvenir set 影展紀念品套裝 (which Jackie Chan gave out at various film festivals) which comes with a crystal pacifier, a full-color English booklet and a double-sided paper money with Jackie Chan & Baby Matthew in each side contained in a specially designed cardboard box.

P/S: Surprisingly, Charlene is NOT credited anywhere for the movie. Not in the promo poster, DVD and it's case/cover, and not even in the end credit part! She plays important role in the movie!!~ Can't believe, isn't it?
