Avril Lavigne "Wish You Were Here" Limited Fan Edition CD Single 5:07 PM

Before receiving this item, I've read a whole lot of complaints about the actual CD by fans who got it first. Apparently the tracklist is different as what was listed - there's no 'Hello' but acoustic version of 'Smile' and 'What The Hell'? Which many of us already have it (the former has been released digitally, while the latter is included in "Goodbye Lullaby" Deluxe Edition).
And then I received the "Wish You Were Here" Fan Edition CD single, I have to admit that the physical product is really unprofessionally done. The sleeve doesn't look like common single (neither slim case sleeve design, nor the maxi single that comes with back cover), and the CD print look very simple and like bootleg!
I've politely asked for a refund, glad that they accepted it without the need of sending the CD back to them.

MOULIN ROUGE! Limited Blu-ray'n'Book Edition (Australian Digibook) 2:06 PM

This is probably the best movie I've ever watched. I love the songs being used in the movie, the casts anc production crews are brilliant and talented, the visual feast effects and sets are stunning, and I like the whole movie is surrounding the theme 'Freedom, Beauty, Truth and Love'. I've watched the movie for more than 10 times and never get bored of it, and still recommending my friends to watch it - even after 10 years after it's initial release.
I always wanted to get the Blu-ray edition so that I could enjoy high quality video of this movie, and glad that I saw an ad about this movie would be released in Limited Digibook edition in JB Hi-Fi's Stack Magazine, so I've been waiting for it to be displayed on the shelf. And finally I got it, AUD22.98.

The overall digibook design could have been better without the ugly and distracting Blu-ray label, and should have slightly smaller Moulin Rouge! logo and the classification label (best without it at all!) on the cover.

The exclusive booklet is not as great as what I expected, only 12 pages and mostly low quality pictures (seems they screencapped those images from the video), I reckon' official promotional photos or unseen photos should be used instead. I found out that France has released this Digibook edition first, at least they used gold colour Blu-ray label. :p

As for the movie wise, the main movie video quality is excellent, however the special features are mostly taken from DVD (few special features on DVD are not in this Blu-ray edition), and the video resolution are quite bad (they even display those videos in a small box with MR frame that covers almost half of the screen).

Overall, this is one of the best movies I've ever watched, I also own 2-disc DVD edition, and this Collector's Edition - which should have a better design and packaging.

A 13 minutes mini movie/drama. I think the video is a bit too long, on the other hand, she's such an awesome actress and director, and her tears in the ward scene seemed real. Go GaGa! :D

This is one of my most favourite songs ever [and the best song from her album "Goodbye Lullaby" imo] -- it's really close to my heart and how I feel. I'm glad that she released this song as a single.
Visiting her official store website was unexpected (I was searching for more info about this song on wikipedia and a 'Fan Edition' is mentioned)... and then I eventually pre-ordered this limited edition single because I think having a physical copy would be great, and I love this song so much. I'm expecting to receive this CD around December, since the pre-order will close on 28 November 2011, so 'fans', do place your order before it's sold out!

The Wiggles Big Birthday 2011 - Perth 7:17 PM

I was working at The Wiggles' Big Red Cafe at Mandurah [10-11 Oct 2011] and Perth Langley Park [I only worked on 6 & 7 Oct 2011 as I went to Collie for JCW'11 on Friday afternoon]. Perth was the first stop of The Wiggles' Big Birthday tour.
The stage is cooler than what I expected, as this is probably not what people would expect when seeing the white-and-normal tents outside.

The Big Red Cafe @ Mandurah outlet.

I didn't see The Wiggles in real person though, but it's nice to work in the event. :)

PERTH ROYAL SHOW 2011 11:48 PM

Spent half day at Perth Royal Show @ Showgrounds with work colleagues before going to the staff party last night. Overall the event /mini amusement park is quite interesting and happening, it's just that you'll need to pay for each ride even though you have purchased the day pass, for example, the minimum price for a ride is 9 dollar, which I think it's quite expensive. Other than that, I pretty much enjoyed the trip. I only played few rides such as rollercoaster (nice but short), spinning-rocket thingy (gosh, I nearly fainted due to spinning too long), and the 3D Ghost House (not scary at all, and the 3D effects are useless!). I didn't play any games but bought some candy showbags instead. I recommend everyone to visit Perth Royal Show if there's any chance, and maybe once is enough as I heard it's almost the same every year. :)
