I bought it because it's in a very great price. However, the size is way too big (there's only one size)! I assume the size should be Big or XL, since there's no sign for the actual code. Even though I have the chance to get a refund, but I decided to keep it. Oh well :(

Anyway, thanks to Linda for organizing this hangout at Burswood Entertainment.
It's a casino actually... but it's clean, colourful, and the good thing: it's a non-smoking casino!!!

And then we went to EVE club for 'dance/clubbing' (sorry I don't really dance.. oops). It's also a non-smoking club! It's better and more comfortable than Miri.

Alright, we were fetched by Linda around 9.30pm, and went back home around 3am...

Oh yeah, forgot to mention.. We are: Dhiren, Vimal and I + Linda and Jarrad.

Attended Freshies' Welcome at Elizabeth Jolley LT in Curtin University.

This is my first time ever - attended to Church (I don't even know it's Church, I thought it's a gathering, haha) - for Adeline and Evangeline. My sister, Ah Piang, Garry and Suzanne etc also attended to this event.

There are several performances in the event. Including dance (featuring Adeline and Evangeline), drama/sketch...

... Choir, music/band,
Talk (?)
...and pray.

I never attended to any Church before (I'm a Buddhist), so I'm kinda excited throughout the event. It's a totally new experience for me!! ^_^v

New phone plan + new phone 11:00 PM

Finally subscribed a phone plan (3) 2 days ago after a long decision-making process. Was using Optus prepaid but the phone call charge rate is very high, and I've topped up around $90 in 3 weeks! Before this I was planning to get iphone 3G or 4 at $69 x 12 months. I thought it's quite expensive and not worth to get it, so I decided to choose a cheap phone plan priority goes to phone call credit and features.

Lucky me, I got the LG Optimus GT540f for $29 x 12 months! I won't be able to get this phone if I subscribed early as it's just released one week ago.. and I'm really happy with it, well it's the best one and 'love at first sight' among other phone options on the same $29 phone plan (that's one of the reasons why I need to take time to consider which phone plan to subscribe.. because I don't like the other phones!).

Anyway, $29 per month gives you $180 of credit to call and sms (national or international). I've added additional $4 for 500mb internet data.

Positive things: this phone is light; smaller and more handy than iphone; clear screen; touchscreen; nice phone features; easy to use; good applications - Android; reasonable speed of internet; support MP4 and wmv videos; support various music files; and reasonable good sound quality.

Sort-of negative things: camera at the back (not able to do face-to-face video conference); sometimes lagging; no torchlight; 3mp camera quality & poor image quality; limited options on Music/media Player; lesser options on application compares to iphone.

In conclusion: "Positive things" win.

inside look: FTV studio and editing suite 12:54 PM

Well I'm taking FTV Broadcast Video Workshop this semester (thanks to unit controller for letting me to take this advance unit directly).
This is the 'studio' classroom. We'll need to produce four tv episodes this semester, then it'll be released on Australia tv. Sounds interesting!
Mini suite to ingest our recorded footages (we're not using DV tape here).

Ok, this is (I believe 'one of') the editing suite. Four sets of MAC for video editing in this room... that's mean maximum of four groups doing editing in this same room! (oh dear, Miri provides one set of MAC in each single editing room, which is more comfortable!)...

Well, Curtin Open Day 2010 in Bentley is quite different from Curtin Miri.

Here is more on information expo such as info and exhibitions for various schools, with games stations, screening, fashion show, campus and on campus housing tour, mini zoo booth, goodies/giveaways etc; while Curtin Miri comes with (majority) club booths and coupon selling for foods and stuffs, then expo, NGOs etc.

Had a great night out with sister and friends tonight!

We first had our dinner at a Korean restaurant~
It's hot and spicy, but yummy!

Then we went to shopping at Harbour Town.

Next we went to Icey Ice for Ice-cream supper. We ordered Mango, Green Tea and Mocha flavour, and it's sooo nice! The ice is very smooth that melt in your mouth immediately, and it contained the flavour in the ice itself! Gonna try the other flavours next time~ :)
